Motherwell have signed 24 year old Everton goalkeeper John Ruddy on loan until January 2010 with the option of a permanent move. Jim Gannon has previously worked with Ruddy before as the English keeper joined him on loan twice with Stockport County. Ruddy will be eligable for the Europa League Third Qualifying Round tie against Romanians, Steaua Bucureşti.
