Terry Butcher signed Graeme Smith on a 'free' from Rangers at the start of the 2005-06 season. He would make his first appearance against Dunfermline that season and establish himself as the first choice keeper. In his six years at Ibrox, he failed to make a single appearance and since joining, he is finding a new lease of life.
